I don't think I can do a good summary of me in a sentence or so, the way many people can, but I want something here that's a bit shorter and friendlier than what was here in the past. I can start quite easily with 'I'm a lawyer, specialising in a niche field', but get stuck quite quickly after that. It's not particularly out of the ordinary for me to say that I'm a new home owner currently doing quite a lot of DIY or that I have a younger sister or that I help with my mother's business.
I've recently removed a number of LiveJournal Open IDs from my access list; these are (a) secondary journals/those parents maintain for young children, where I can't imagine anyone would be reading my content while logged into those journals and (b) a number of journals where I don't think the owners are reading what I write. This was mainly to make playing about with various filter groups easier, as it reduces the total number of names to scroll through.
I've also unsubscribed from a number of LiveJournal Open IDs as I'm still reading LiveJournal and don't need to read what anyone is posting on LiveJournal over here.
Where I know who someone's partners are, I will add them all to the same filter groups.
