Getting there
I have forms from the SRA to apply for a CRB check!
I have to do this at least 8 weeks before my proposed admission date [1st or 15th July, depending on paperwork issues]. But yay, am nearly there now!
[solicitors handle other people's money/deal with vulnerable people/are expected to be responsible professionals so we all have to be CRB checked]
I'm now thinking about how I'm going to write the obligatory letter explaining that I use the title Ms [apparently the police assume if you use the title Ms you've been married and are now divorced] because I want to without being too rude whilst still questioning their assumption.
