Coffee in Borders - Cambridge

While I was living in London, I set up the original 'Coffee in Borders' - a social gathering in a non-pub, smoke-free place that was open invite to anyone who came across the invitations. While I know there are potential ethical issues with Starbucks, there are many advantages to using Borders - it's open until 10.30-11pm, so if people don't want to go out to dinner we can stay there, it's a book shop so if you end up there by yourself you can find a good book and sit down to read for an hour or two.

I'm now considering setting the same kind of thing up in Cambridge. So who, reading this would be interested? Please fill in the poll.

In terms of 'good' restaurants, I mean places that serve a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes for no more than £7-8 for a main course. They also need to be non-smoking.

With regards to timing, in London we all tended to turn up after work - 6.30-7.30pm ish, I don't know quite how the timing will work in Cambridge, because I can't guarantee being able to leave work at a particular time and I then have a 30-40 minute drive into Cambridge (+ time to find somewhere to park + walk back to that part of town)
