Chipped mugs
Last weekend I noticed a big chip in a mug I've been using for about three years, so I threw it out, as there's a crack line along it and I feared it falling to pieces while full of coffee.
This morning, I chipped another mug (the coffee jar fell out of the cupboard, onto the mug and then into my hand). Am I right in thinking that I'm going to have throw this mug out too 'cos chips in mugs can harbour bacteria in a way that the properly glazed surface can't?
Yes, I plead guilty to clumsiness.
