One thing I always remember about first aid from scouts - being told by the first aid instructor (a paramedic - had lots of stories from his job) to remember that infants and children tend to have smaller lungs than adults so its a good idea not to blow too hard into them when doing CPR. Apparently it would be possible for an adult to accidently burst a baby's lungs if they didn't take this into account.
