Hello! Just thought I would pop across and introduce myself, as I've just joined your community. (My housemate lisekit told me to and I normally do what she says!)

I think it's a great idea - please feel free to ban me for no apparent reason. As long as I get reinstated eventually.

Now I just have to think of a topic...

I'm glad you've decided to join. I'll warn everyone before I start playing around with banning, comment screening, minimum security seetings, moderation and things.

teriem - you haven't actually joined the community - you've just added the posts to your Friends list. Since the community allows non members to post you won't have a problem posting if you want to, but if you want to see any 'members only' posts you should follow the directions http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=101

Eek - thought I'd pressed all the right buttons and done that. Thanks for pointing that out. Hopefully I've done it correctly now.

Strangely, my Lj client was telling me that I was a member, as well as a friend. Am I looking in the right place? It is entirely possible I'm just being stupid...
