After all my moaning, just had to say 'yey, I've found a flatmate.' Her name is Sarah, and she will be starting the LPC with me next week - so we can motivate each other, she's around my age, and shares my interest in nice sweet things like bakewell tarts - what more could I want in a flatmate?

I really ought to go to the post office now - I need to apply for a new driving licence.

Me too;-) - I'd never done this before, wasn't expecting it to be this hard, and was beginning to get quite worried about it all - especially 'cos the monthly rent is £953 - which is only just less than what I earn.

What happened with the other person? Did s/he bring round takeaway or did you tell them not to come round?

Yeah, it's the kind of thought that makes me smile when I wake up;-)

The other person got stuck - he was coming back from Switzerland and his plane was delayed, so he phoned me at around 8.50pm explaining where he was, and I just had to tell him at that point that I'd made up my mind.

No - I can hardly have my flatmate knowing I'm weird *before* she moves in, now can I?

Keeping an online diary is kind of geeky/not the kind of thing one mentions in polite company:-)
