Talc

I have four containers of talc I want to use up. I never use it (in the past I've tried using it after having had a bath and found it faffy and messy and liable to make me sneeze). What is one supposed to use talc for? (maybe an obvious question, but one I've never had a proper answer for) Is there anything I can make with talc that would be nice/useful?

Could be kind of fun to empty it all into an unmarked clear plastic bag and take it with you in hand luggage to the airport...

I was going to say start with wikipedia, and then was reminded of the bit in officespace, where he says "I can't believe we're so sad we're looking up money laudering in the dictionary"

I used to mix it with water and colouring to make a sort of paste and let it dry. Just. Don't. Ask.

I used to mix chalk dust with water when I was little. It had interesting properties.

You can do, though the general consensus is that lube is much more effective. However, talc is good for *storing* latex after cleaning.

I've only ever used it for its intended purpose. Charity shop?

I used to be a talc girl, (it was much more popular in the 70s and 80s) and used to dust it in my creases (under knockers, behind knees, on thighs).

I've not had any for yeeeeeeeeeeeeears. Last time I actually remember using it was about 1990! It's a bit of a nostalgia thing for me.

Ah, the demise of talc.

use in between your toes to dry up the bits you missed, also under boobs and between thighs to stop/relieve and heat rash. Now used to ease on rubber clothing.

Isn't shake and vac just a kind of talc? Doing the little dance isn't mandatory, but you could use it like that (assuming its scented).
