Oxford

I will be in Oxford on Saturday. What's worth seeing/doing in Oxford nowadays? Is it worthwhile getting there in the morning to allow myself shopping time in interesting-Oxford-only-places? [I was last in Oxford in May 2005, and that was only for a couple of hours]. Unless the city has changed dramatically since 2002 I know my way around very well.

well can I recommend that you get a light tea at the old parsonage hotel at the start of banbury road. I would highly recommend their own brand tea

I wish I had more time to list some options but were supposed to be leaving NOW!

I would always recommend spending extra time in Oxford. The DailyInfo website doesn't have listings for this weekend yet, but there are bound to be Exciting Things to do and see.

You might want to look at the Castle development, just because it's new. Mainly food eateries. And there's now a second Oxfam bookshop (on Turl Street), which can't be a bad thing.
