Not sure what I've done today - typed out that list of couples for Thursday evening, spent ages trying to learn how to tie a knot, might have solved my css problem, think I've worked out how to embed my livejournal, but not how to give it an alt label.

Oh, and I think I can deal with equations of circles - though got a bit more to do, and Merton is on University Challenge this evening......

Took people to a meeting, answered phones, wondered about the point of live, and how pointless mine is atm - given severe lack of social life, mainly caused by not living in London, which is partly caused by the meanness of the Inland Revenue in not sorting out my tax code properly, and partly cos I get too tired to go flat hunting in the evenings.

This ought to fix itself in April if they can't be made to fix it before then. Although April seems to be quite a long time away. In theory it should also mean you'll be able to apply for a refund then, which won't do any harm...

Oh, it'll fix itself, but not until the middle of May, when they receive both of my P11s. I have two jobs - I'm my mother's company secretary, and I'm temping with Office Angels - my tax code for Village Fabrics Ltd is 250L, and for Office Angels is 211T Week 1 - I was told I have to have a week 1 code because it's a second job, and that they can't do anything about the tax I'm overpaying until May - when they find out how much I've actually paid - they seemed to doubt that I'm overpaying, but I must be - I worked it out, and I'll earn just over £7 000 for the *tax year* - so I've already paid more than enough tax for the amount I'll earn. It's just annoying at the moment, cos of London house prices - I don't really want to spend half of what I take home on housing.
