Elections, elections

There seem to be lots of elections taking place today (though not in my bit of Suffolk). If you've got an election taking place in your area, maybe going along to vote would be a good use of ten minutes of your time.

Ten minutes? It took me about 45 minutes by the time I'd walked to the polling station, voted and walked back again! ;-) all before 8am too. :-))

That's the plan after work, then dropping stuff for BiFest off, then home to collect [livejournal.com profile] kimble and out again to vote before 10pm. We have a tradition of walking to the polling station together...

I already voted by post, knowing I was going to be in Edinburgh this week.
