Well then
Last weekend wasn't so bad as I'd anticipated - I got Saturday off, and it wasn't raining on Sunday when we were trying to pack up. I am however, in the position I knew I'd be in with my OU coursework - it'll be OK - it's only one piece out of four, and what I'm doing is probably right, but still, I really ought to be much more organised than this: indeed I should be doing it now, rather than updating this, but never mind.
24 hour war coverage is too much even for me - I can't help feeling that most of the US/UK deaths so far were preventable - we shouldn't be crashing helicopters into the ground or each other, or be in any danger of 'friendly' missiles. And there's a part of me that can't help having a sneaking admiration for the tactics of the Iraqis - at the very least it might make Blair/Bush a little more cautious before they decide to launch into military action without overwhelming reasons for doing so, if they're aware that their troops are not invincible. Just let it be over quickly.
