Boring updatey thing

Don't seem to have a great deal I want to write about atm - possibly 'cos it's all rather mundane.

Let's see: Coffee in Borders last Tuesday involved some very political discussion and for once I wasn't being ganged up upon by a load of lefties. Got 49% on the property mock - so I really will have to do some work there (and I did start in on that by reading a couple of chapters of the resource book on Sunday).

Nice quiet weekend - actually caught up on some long over due email replies during the LiveJournal outage on Saturday (though there's more to go). Heard that one of the people I met at HGC Widegames died on Saturday night from cancer:-(

Criminal last night didn't seem too bad. Coffee in Borders again this evening - I must try to visit John Lewis before going to Borders - I want some telly prices, 'cos I've got to get round to sorting out a new telly. Picked up a catalogue from one of the electrical places on Tottenham Court Road as I walked past last night - and the only tellies it had were plasma flat screen things, which isn't what I want (it was also full of computers, so I've now thrown it out before I get any ideas!).

Hmm, seems I've written quite a lot for not having a lot to say....

Comment therefore deleted, sorry.

On the other hand, some people get ganged up on and some people don't ever not get ganged up on- the one we had in Borders was the latter sort.

Ooh, this was weird. I read the entry when it was all one friends only post, and then refreshed my friends page to find some of the post re-posted! Then I scrolled down a bit and noticed you'd taken it out of the first post and it all made sense :)

[Related to the other entry but I'm too lazy to comment twice, and this comment is otherwise very content-lite] I really need to phone my mum today. I haven't talked to her since before I went to Seattle (when I actually saw her). I also really really need to find out what's going on with my Samsung laptop. I'm getting tired of using this 8 pound thing with the dodgy screen hinges. She's been in touch with them, because I've had automated mails, but I can get absolutely no useful information out of my brother, so I actually have to go and bring the phone up here.

TV

Why not try tescos for a TV, i seem to remember you only wanted a new one so you'd have a scart socket for a digi box! Tescos have a few cheap tv's one with a bulit in Video, which i personally would avoid (One breaks there both buggered!) and i think it was only £36. which is cheap. OK may not last years but at that price who cares?
