Given my even greater lack of work than usual, I really ought to have a go at some of the job apps under my desk, but I don't really feel like doing that right now.
The OU thing I posted off, having missed out various bits of questions - but it was better to post something and have it in my the deadline, than not send anything. Got to do the other bit - the computer marked bit on Sat afternoon/Sunday and then post it off and I'll get a bit of a break. I really must stop doing these things at the last minute - I guess I've yet to really forget the Oxford mentality of 'it'll all be OK' and 'work contracts to fit into the three hours you have left'. And to be honest I don't particularly care - there are four tutor marked pieces, four computer marked pieces and an exam - even if this one isn't too good, there's still no reason why I can't get a distinction in the end - assuming I do some work at some point.
Am getting really annoyed with the bus going past before 7.15am (when it's supposed to come) - I end up having to stand around and wait for a train when I get the later bus. I could also really do with a bank somewhere more convenient on my route to work. There isn't even one within easy reach of me at lunchtime, grr.
