Don't know how many of you read
news but there's a nice new feature that allows you to tag LJ posts and then filter via a tag eg. you could tag certain entries 'geek' or 'food' and then filter so that you can just see geek/food entries.
I'm not sure how I'm going to use this feature so I've set the permissions such that anyone on my friends' list has full control over tagging my entries - so if you feel the pressing need to categorise what I write then go ahead (where you would expect to see an 'edit entry' button on your own journal comment pages, you'll see an 'edit tag' button whereever you're allowed to edit tags).
The FAQ category is http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqcat=tags if you want more detail.
(Yes, I am very sad - I converted my journal to S2 so that I could use the tags - the style is as similar as I could make it to the old one, 'cos I like theboring simple, non-fussy style.)
