The weekend
Apr. 28th, 2003 12:14 pmWell I tried to go shopping on Saturday, but couldn't find what I was looking for - there were a couple of things I half liked, but not at the prices, but there wasn't a great deal that I could really say was 'black tie' enough. Lots of tops have the potential to be really nice - I quite like some of the floaty things around, but then they're not finished very well or they're just too casual/going outy rather than formal.
Oh well - it's not a problem, I have plenty of other things to wear. What is a little more concerning is needing to buy a black suit for graduating in - I think I'm going to devote a good part of next Saturday to doing that.
Was pleasantly surprised to find someone else who agreed with me about a piece of music - was chatting on IRC last night, and talking about Evita, which I was watching at the same time. I discovered that I'm not the only one who likes the lines 'So what happens now, what happens now, where am I going to, where am I going to'. I'd thought that was a very weird part to like, and I'm not really sure I can explain why I do, but at least I'm not the only one.
