Pillows

I'm contemplating buying some new pillows. For the past five or so years I've bought cheap pillows from Woolworths/Argos every so often, throwing out the ones that have become horribly misshapen and stuff. What I want to do now is to start replacing what I have with pillows that are going to last more than a couple of years. Can I have some recommendations please?

I want artificial filling rather than animal filling because animal fillings are likely to make me sneeze a lot (I know generally animal fillings are longer lasting than synthetic ones, but not having bedding that makes me sneeze is more important than how long it lasts).
