karen2205: Me with proper sized mug of coffee (Default)
After all my moaning, just had to say 'yey, I've found a flatmate.' Her name is Sarah, and she will be starting the LPC with me next week - so we can motivate each other, she's around my age, and shares my interest in nice sweet things like bakewell tarts - what more could I want in a flatmate?

I really ought to go to the post office now - I need to apply for a new driving licence.

Singing

I can't sing. I've been told so, ever since I tried to join the school choir at the age of eight. Even my friends tell me I'm tone deaf.

Is there anyway I could learn to sing sufficiently well to sing along in a group in tune or so that I can sing round the house without feeling like I'm doing something wrong ('cos I'm so awful no one'd want to hear me).

One of the good things about being on my own these past few days is that I can sing without anyone hearing/caring. I'm going to miss that:-( (says she singing along to Memory from Cats.

Any suggestions. This is FO 'cos it embarrasses me - I seem to be posting a lot of FO stuff at the moment.

Edited - now public
