Borders Coffee report
Sep. 29th, 2004 01:04 pmAll the usual suspects were there - and I got to meet
reddragdiva who is scarily tall. We moved to Carnichios (Nile will correct my spelling in due course) for dinner - Mark and I had some lovely lasagne, Francis had something with wild boar, Nile some canneloni (sp) and Adam something with mushrooms (correct me if I'm wrong guys). Ooh, then there was chocolate truffle, tiramasu and mandarin sorbet for desert. I had a good time, though I was trying to do the two conversations at once thing - I can't do it. I found it *very* difficult to have any conversation at all in the restaurant because it was so noisy. The glass of wine I had with dinner went straight to my head, aptly illustrating how low my alcohol tolerance is nowadays. I heard about lots of books I should read - am always open to recommendations, please post as comments.

Any other hair dying suggestions in comments please.
